this is my wifes work. she designed it and whatever. in our guest bathroom.
this whole desk is built out of left over 3x6. except for two small pieces of plywood on bottom shelves.
this was harder to build than it looks. so fuck off.

this is the look before we stained it.
a side view. notice there is nothing holding it to the wall. except these two little thin two inch nails. hope no earthquakes soon.

did you mean 1x3 for the desk or did you rip and etc the 3x6 down to dimensions you could use?Any plans on that desk BTW? I like the leaning shelves and it looks VERY functional.

it was 3x6 and i ripped it all down. thank god for table saws.no plans.. i improvised. my best work is always done at a moments notice.
